Shareable Privacy Statement

Shareable is a small tool for checking whether public web pages have usable share preview metadata.

What Shareable Processes

When you run a check, Shareable processes the public page URL you submit. For normal server-side checks, Shareable fetches that public page and reads its share preview metadata, such as title, description, canonical URL, Open Graph tags, and Open Graph images.

If you use the Shareable Chrome extension, the extension only runs when you click it. It sends compact metadata evidence from the page already loaded in your browser, including the page URL, document title, document ready state, and selected metadata fields. It does not send full HTML, cookies, browser storage, request or response headers, browser response data, passwords, screenshots, or page captures.

Do not use Shareable on private, confidential, access-controlled, internal, or sensitive pages.

Saved Reports

Shareable only saves a report when you explicitly choose to create a private share link. Saved reports contain the derived report, selected metadata rows, and compact diagnostics. They do not contain raw page HTML, cookies, browser storage, or page captures.

Saved reports are private by link for 30 days. Anyone with the share link can view the report. The separate manage/delete link can be used to delete it sooner.

Logs and Abuse Prevention

Shareable uses IP-based rate limiting to protect the service from abuse. Hosting and infrastructure providers may also process standard technical information such as IP address, user agent, request path, and timestamps to operate, secure, and debug the service.

Third Parties

When Shareable performs a server-side check, the public page being checked, and any Open Graph image URLs it validates, may receive requests from Shareable's server using the Shareable user agent.

Shareable does not sell personal information and does not use advertising trackers.

Header is a browser extension for applying request headers that you configure to matching developer domains.

Header stores your header sets, domain patterns, and enabled/disabled settings in your browser's local extension storage. This information stays on your device unless you choose to export, copy, or otherwise share it.

Header uses browser permissions to apply your configured request headers to matching HTTP and HTTPS requests. It does not collect browsing history, inspect response bodies, authenticate users, sync data, use analytics, or send your configuration to a remote service.

Header does not sell, rent, or share personal information. Header does not use cookies or tracking technologies.

You can remove Header's locally stored data by deleting your header sets in the extension or by uninstalling the extension from your browser.
